Soul Juice

Jazz/rnb/soul/hiphop/afro improvised open jam session. No set list. 15-minute rotations. Backline provided; BYOI. Feed your soul.

Soul Juice continues the quest to bring culture and community back into Dublin.

Inspired by London’s improvised jam scene, Q returned home and noticed there were no real spaces for artists to create without an end goal and to fully improvise, connect, and collaborate with other artists, musicians, and producers across the /jazz /RnB / hip hop/ trad/rap/poetry/funk / Latin / Afro / neo-soul scene. No wonder people were flying away to find their community or a space to belong; everything felt gated. Q created Soul Juice to bring people together in person and to let the subconscious create through play and music.

How the event runs: backline is provided (drums, keys, amps, microphones); bring your own instrument. No set list; create on the spot.

15-minute rotations.
