Conor McGinty - Echoes of Ireland

Conor McGinty is a Irish Celtic/Pop/Folk crossover artist & songwriter from Derry, and the creator of Echoes of Ireland - a theatrical concert of Irish favourites, rock classics and pop anthems, with musical direction by Eamonn Karran. The show premiered at Derry’s Millennium Forum in June 2026 to a 700-strong house and eight standing ovations.

Conor first reached national attention on The X Factor UK, making the final thirty and drawing praise from Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and many more. He has since topped the iTunes World Music Chart twice — with A New Dawn (2019) and This Christmas (2022) — appeared on ITV, BBC, RTÉ and UTV regularly, and sung to capacity crowds at Wembley Arena, 3Arena and Alexandra Palace. In 2023 he became the first man to sing the Irish national anthem for a sitting President of Ireland in the North, before 7,000 people. In 2025 Derry named him its Arts & Culture Icon.
