Immortal Technique is a Peruvian-born, Harlem-raised rapper, activist and independent hip-hop icon whose uncompromising work has challenged power for more than two decades. Emerging from New York’s battle-rap circuit, he broke through with Revolutionary Vol. 1 and Revolutionary Vol. 2, building a global following without surrendering creative control. His catalogue—including underground classics “Dance with the Devil,” “Point of No Return” and “Industrial Revolution”—pairs vivid storytelling with fearless examinations of inequality, racism, war, corruption and colonialism. Beyond music, Technique has turned his politics into direct action, supporting education, immigrant rights, prison outreach and humanitarian projects; proceeds from The 3rd World helped fund an orphanage in Afghanistan.
